At Vikileria Couture Lab, we don’t recycle fabric. We give new form to memories.

What is Couture Lab?

Vikileria Couture Lab is an artistic transformation service for wedding dresses. We work using our own methodology, haute couture techniques and a signature design vision.
Every transformation is unique — because every dress has a different story. No two projects are the same. They cannot be.

Three moments to bring about change

Consultation and design

Tell us the story behind your dress — where it comes from, what it means to you, and what you want it to be. Together, we’ll design the transformation: which parts to create, which to keep, and which to add.

Handcrafted

We deconstruct, cut and reconstruct. Each sculptural element is crafted by hand — flowers, shapes, textures — using materials from the original dress and those incorporated to give it a new lease of life.

Your piece, your story

You receive a bespoke garment that embodies everything you’ve experienced. We document the process so that you, too, can have the story told. One piece. Just one.

Unisex bomber jacket with built-in bustier

The most radical and powerful transformation. A unisex bomber jacket with a sculptural bustier integrated into the back — he wears it as a coat, whilst I pair it with a skirt created from the layers of the dress. One and the same design, two pieces, two ways to wear it.

Sculptural top or bustier

The lace and trimmings on the dress transform it into a haute couture piece featuring 3D elements — fantastical flowers, voluminous shapes and chains. A garment that looks like textile jewellery.

Skirt + designer accessory

The layers of the dress can be transformed into a midi or asymmetrical skirt. The excess fabric becomes a sculptural accessory — a corsage, a handbag or a shoulder piece — which you can wear with any outfit.

Formal coat

A clean, minimalist exterior, with a sculptural design on the back or lining. Wear it over a simple outfit to completely transform your look. Ideal for anniversaries, special occasions or everyday luxury wear.

Open-source project

No set templates. If you have a vision — even if it’s vague, even if it’s just a feeling — we’ll develop it together from scratch. The result doesn’t have a name yet. That’s the most interesting part.

REVIVE ONE — The first project

The transformation of my own wedding dress into two pieces with a single soul. A unisex bomber jacket with a sculptural bustier integrated into the back — he wears it as a coat, whilst I pair it with a skirt created from the layers of the dress. Two ways of embodying the same origin. The project that introduced Couture Lab to the world.

work with me

Everyone has a different story and comes from a different background. That’s why Couture Lab offers four different options — ranging from online mentoring to me creating the entire piece for you. Find the one that’s right for you.

Online Transformational Mentoring

We’ll design the transformation of your dress together, and I’ll guide you through the process from anywhere in the world. Ideal if you already have some sewing experience or someone to help you with the work.

Couture Lab In-Person Experience

You come to Madrid with your dress. We work together in the atelier for 2 or 3 intensive days. You leave with your transformed piece and the story documented.

Designer Project — Valeria creates it for you

The pinnacle of Couture Lab. You entrust us with your dress, and Valeria designs and carries out the entire transformation — without you needing to be involved in the process. You receive a finished, one-of-a-kind designer piece that cannot be replicated.
