Bring them to our atelier in Las Tablas on a Friday afternoon. You will learn to mend them yourself or transform them into something completely new. An in-person workshop in very small groups, guided by the Vikileria Revive atelier team.<\/p>\n<h2>An afternoon to rescue your clothes and end the week creating<\/h2>\n<p>Rescue Fridays is not a typical sewing class. It is a different kind of Friday plan: three hours to learn, sew and unwind while giving a second life to what is already in your wardrobe.<\/p>\n<h3>When you book, you choose your path:<br \/>\nPractical Rescue: learn to mend your clothes<\/h3>\n<p>Bring 2 or 3 garments that need a repair and learn to do them yourself: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hemming trousers, skirts and dresses<\/li>\n<li>Replacing a zip<\/li>\n<li>Sewing on buttons and fixing open seams<\/li>\n<li>Taking in or adjusting a garment to fit your body<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Creative Rescue: upcycling<\/h3>\n<p>Turn a garment into a one-of-a-kind piece through the lens of the Vikileria Method:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Patches, panels and fabric combinations<\/li>\n<li> New collars, cuffs, sleeves or volumes<\/li>\n<li> Appliqu\u00e9s fabrics or passementerie<\/li>\n<li>Turning one garment into a different one<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each Friday we also suggest a creative theme for inspiration, such as &#8220;Rescue your jeans&#8221;, &#8220;The forgotten shirt&#8221; or &#8220;A touch of author&#8221;. If you have never used a sewing machine, we start with the basics.<\/p>\n<p>What should I bring?<\/p>\n<p>A clean garment you would like to mend or transform: trousers that are too long, a jacket with a broken zip, jeans you no longer wear&#8230; When you book, we will help you choose the one that best suits what you want to learn.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Will I finish my garment during the workshop?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yes. We plan the repairs or the transformation so they can be completed within the 3 hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Can I bring more than one garment?<\/strong><br \/>\nFor Practical Rescue, yes: bring 2 or 3 garments with different repairs. For Creative Rescue, bring one main garment and a backup.<\/p>\n<p>Can I bring clothes for you to repair?<br \/>\nWe do not offer an alteration service.
